Monkey Face Granny Square

Hi crocheters! It’s been a while since I've posted an animal face granny square. Rest assured that I haven't abandoned this line of designs, I have several ideas that are still cooking, but I am not always satisfied with what I come up with. This cute monkey, however, made me happy with his big smile, so I decided to share the pattern with you all. It has the same basic granny square that I have been using for all my other animal granny square collection and reworked the face parts to those of a monkey. I've attached the ears on their straight side, but I kept their round side free. For the background, I've chosen a dark green color, which created a nice contrast with the light brown color of the monkey, but it's up to you if you like to choose another color. Stay tuned for my upcoming crochet animal faces and have a nice day.
