Easter Chick Granny Square

Important notice: This written pattern has been reviewed and updated on June 1st, 2021.

While I was on Pinterest, getting ideas for my Bunny Granny Square of this year's Easter, many lovely pictures of chicks popped up in front of me, in the form of amigurumi, coasters and granny squares. So, as soon as I finished designing my previous one, I started planning this new granny square. As a whole, I'm proud of my animal themed granny squares set so far, and I hope the future ones will be as cute and easy to make too.

I wish you all a joyful time crocheting this project, and happy Easter again to all of you who celebrate it. Don't forget to stay safe and healthy, and take care of yourselves.

  1. Hello I was wondering if I could use acrylic yarn instead as I want to make my dog a special Easter blanket..if so would a 4mm hook be ok? I just love these Easter squares thanks for the pattern

    1. Hello of course you can use acrylic yarn, but these yarns come with different weights, so choosing the suitable hook size depends to that. You can read the specifications on the label of your yarn of choice to decide which hook size you need to use.
Have a nice and safe day.
