Christmas Lily Hat

Hello friends! I tend to share at least one Christmas themed pattern around this time of every year, matter of fact, I am in the middle of finalizing one at the moment. But I took a small break from that to share this pattern with you upon a request I received recently about a pattern from a couple of years ago. A nice lady had asked about my Christmas Lotus Hat, of which I had originally made two versions, but only posted the instructions for one. I promised her to make a new post for the second version, and here am fulfilling my promise. Instructions are available for three sizes: small, suitable for 8-12 year-old children, while medium and large can fit teens and adults. Feel free to choose your own color combo, but don’t forget to top it off with a colorful pompom. You can check out my previous designs for Christmas below. Happy Holidays everyone!

Bold Stripes Hat

Hello friends! Making an accessory from yarn, such as a hat, a set of mittens or a head band that matches a sweater or skirt can seriously enhance the overall look of your chosen outfit. So, having a lot of leftover yarn, I had to make a matching hat for the Bold Stripes Skirt and Top set to be complete. This hat has the same general pattern of the other two pieces, although the final look leans more towards a beret shape. I've made this hat in two sizes that I hope can fit most heads. You can even knit it with a different colored yarn to break the monotone of the outfit. It's a pretty easy knit, especially if you had made the skirt or the top before. I hope you enjoy making and wearing it!

Net Weave Toque

Hello everyone! Now that spring is near, it's time to start working with lighter weight yarns and choose from the multitude of colors that fit the season. I'm working on many projects these days, most of which are finished and scheduled to be posted soon. This toque design is the first of a two-piece set that includes it and a nice scarf. The pattern is a very simple; an "eight stitches by eight rounds" lace square pattern, that could be worked into many different designs, and I will be showing you one way of incorporating it in this post. This toque comes in two sizes, Size S for toddlers and Size M/L for adults. It can fit most heads owing to the ribs that add stretchiness to it. I hope you all enjoy making it, and I wish you the warmest of days.

Branch High Hat

Hi everyone! One of my favorite things to do while browsing the internet, is finding ways of converting certain patterns to fit into a hat, shawl, cowl or any other project of mine. Once a pattern is chosen, it goes into a long process of trial and error. Sometimes, even after days of experimenting, nothing satisfactory comes out of it, and I frog the whole thing and move on to another pattern. In this hat though, I watched a video of this pattern that was worked back and forth, which I thought made it look somewhat difficult to knit. And that’s when an idea came to my mind that this pattern would be much easier if worked in rounds, and thus this hat was born. It looks very nice and is really fun to make! It can be made in two sizes; for the little ones to wear in the upcoming breezy spring days, and for adults it can look very elegant and warm. Hope you enjoy knitting it!
