Sunflower Swirls Shawl

Important notice: This written pattern has been reviewed and updated on September 17th, 2021. Tutorial images and video have also been added.

Happy fall days everyone! Because the chill weather is approaching fast, and so, I'm trying my best make as many projects as I can before moving to my new Christmas Ideas like every year. The Caron One Pound yarn was challenging to me, I took a tour of every project done using it on Pinterest, and came to a decision to knit a shawl using a simple pattern. Its bright color helped making a bold final appearance. I hope you enjoy knitting this shawl as much as I did!

Skill level: Intermediate

  2. How difficult would it be to knit this in colorful stripes? Also, do you have a how-to video on beginning the shawl? I'm having difficulty understanding it.

    3. Hi cleanone
I don't think working in colorful yarn or even colored yarns would be difficult if you know how to knit multi colored stripes.

These are links to a very useful method to start this shawl, which is, by the way, called Garter Tab.

    3. Hi Dee, I've checked the last row and as a matter of fact it is correct, because when I mentioned (to last 2 sts before center st, k 14) these 14 sts include the center st, it is the last row that doesn't follow the general pattern. Thank you again because I've found a mistake somewhere else in the general pattern and it is corrected. have a perfect spring day!
