Materials:
- Suggested yarn: Opal Dort Mevsim, 100% acrylic, 3.53 oz (100 g), 257 yards (235 m), in the color lilac (322), 3 skeins.
- Knitting needles, size US 8 (5 mm), you can use straight or circular.
- Tapestry needle.
Measurements: width = 43" (110 cm), length = 70" (175 cm), approx.
Yardage: 770 - 775 yards (705 - 710 m), approx.
Gauge: 16 sts and 25 rows = 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch and size US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles.
Knitting Terms:
- st: stitch.
- sts: stitches.
- k: knit.
- p: purl.
- yo: yarn over.
- sl st: slip stitch purl wise.
- k2tog: knit two sts together.
- ssk: slip, slip, knit the slipped sts together through back loops.
- p2tog: purl two sts together.
