Materials:

• Suggested yarn: Opal Dort Mevsim, 100% acrylic, 3.53 oz (100 g), 257 yards (235 m), in the color lilac (322), 3 skeins.
• Knitting needles, size US 8 (5 mm), you can use straight or circular.
• Tapestry needle.

Measurements: width = 43" (110 cm), length = 70" (175 cm), approx.

Yardage: 770 - 775 yards (705 - 710 m), approx.

Gauge: 16 sts and 25 rows = 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch and size US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles.

Knitting Terms:

• st: stitch.
• sts: stitches.
• k: knit.
• p: purl.
• yo: yarn over.
• sl st: slip stitch purl wise.
• k2tog: knit two sts together.
• ssk: slip, slip, knit the slipped sts together through back loops.
• p2tog: purl two sts together.
• s2s1ktog: slip two stitches as if to knit them together, slip the third one knit-wise, knit the three stitches together through back loops (centered double decrease). You can watch my tutorial video below to learn how to knit this stitch:

Repeat the general pattern rows eighteen more times (or as many as you prefer), knit three rows, then cast off all sts loosely. weave in loose ends. Block.
