Leaf Assortment Scarf

Hello friends! As per usual, I bought this lovely yarn without a previous plan of what I would be doing with it, I just really loved the color combo, and I like challenging myself this way. So after a session of brain storming and researching I decided that a leafy pattern is the most suitable. All you need to focus on regarding this pattern is how to make the longer types of crochet stitches. Once you get the hang of that, you just keep on repeating the same two rows over and over. I think this color combo is lovely for this project, but you can absolutely choose any other color pallet you fancy and make a different leaf assortment.
I hope you all like it! Stay safe and Healthy.

  1. Hi, I've just downloaded the lovely Leaf Assortment Scarf. However, when reading the pattern the first row has me foxed. I can't make out what is meant by sc into each ch 8 times because in the picture following it doesn't look like there are 8 lots of sc in each of the beginning chains. I'd like to make this but don't know how to get started. I'm used to using intermediate patterns so I feel I should be able to do it. Can you help please?

    1. Hi Catherine
You really made me happy trying to crochet this pattern so soon. I got what you, and you are right. Just give me day or two to add more clarifications to the instructions.

    3. Hi Catherine
Go to first photo tutorial and study it carefully. I hope the first row is clear now, and you can crochet on this base the rest of rows.
Have a nice and safe day.

    1. Hi Sibille,
The Turkish yarn you are looking for is out of stock every where for the time being. and when I asked my supplier shop owner, she told me that due to the pandemic, many production lines have been stopped for now. So just wait until things return back to normal.
      Have a nice knitting day.

  6. "Row 6: ch 1, sc into sc, *sc 2 into sc, sc into sc 6 times, skip dc, sc into sc 6 times, repeat from * seven times, sc 2 into sc, sc into sc." This is not possible. The previous row alternated 3 sc, 5 chains, 1 dc, 5 chains, 3 sc, etc. So "sc into sc 6 times" needs to be "sc into CHAIN FIVE TIMES". This is consistent with the diagram.
