Mosaic Tiles Skirt

Hi everyone! Mosaic pattern is one of my favorite patterns to knit, so you will see it included in many of my previous works. Since I’m into knitting skirts these days, I wanted to make one that features this pattern. My pick for the yarn this bulky gray and yellow yarn -which my daughter has picked for me a while back- and it was perfect to make the new skirt. The pattern is quite easy to knit once you know the simple mosaic rules; knit and slip stitches with each color every two rounds or knit and slip stitches one round then purl and slip stitches the other round. This skirt comes in four sizes, so check out the measurement details and pick the size that suits you. I also made a matching hat that goes perfectly with the skirt. I will be posting the instructions for it next week. I hope my new design is to your liking and can't wait to hear your feedback.

Flowers Bunch Shawl

Hello knitters! When I purchased a Scheepjes yarn cake almost two years ago -which eventually turned into my Wrap Me in Sunshine Shawl- I went through a battle trying to remain patient and see this project through. I am sure anyone in my shoes understands the agony of using fine yarn to make a big project, the long days of working with thin thread while repeating the same pattern again and again and berating yourself the whole time. So, when I had finished that shawl, I promised that I would not put myself through that again. But as you might expect, I happened to stumble upon this lovely YarnArt cake, fell for the temptation, and the same scenario happened again. So, after weeks of work passed, and so many rows unraveled to correct mistakes made late at night, I can proudly present to you my new shawl. The color change looks so beautiful, and the lacy pattern really shows it off. I feel like the final look is really worth all the effort it took to make it, as you can see. Enjoy knitting this shawl and let me know what you think of it.

Spiky Stripes Beanie

Hello everyone! this beanie is an updated/second version of a project I did back in 2016. I have recently revisited the pattern and I found that the instructions were not easy to follow and unnecessarily complicated, So I decided to give this beautiful beanie a makeover. Following the new instructions, you can make two variations of the new hat; you can make a striped beanie using two yarn colors, or don't bother with switching and just stick with a single color. I hope you enjoy making and wearing these hats, so let me know which one you like best.

Forest Beehive Shawlette

Hello everyone! I made this shawlette after I received a very cute gift from my eight-year-old niece when she returned from vacation. She brought me a pack of three yarn skeins, which she carefully picked herself. I was ecstatic to be given such a thoughtful present, plus, it was my first encounter with Daiso's yarn, or any Japanese yarn, ever. The yarn is bulky and has a nice earthy color palette. Knitting a simple-patterned, asymmetrical shawl is the best way to showcase the lovely color sequence of this yarn, so once the bases of the design were set, I finished knitting the whole thing in two days. I am incredibly happy with the outcome, and I hope you will try making it, too. Please let me know what you think of it and stay tuned for more projects!

Skill level: Easy

Instructions style: written pattern +chart + video tutorial (see below).
