The beaded tassel decoration:
If you know how to crochet, you can make a crocheted row joining the tassels and beads on both ends of the scarf, as shown below. You can absolutely skip this step and the scarf will look beautiful even without this edition.

ReplyDeleteThank you, and sorry for the delay in respond. could you please write in English, so that I can understand your comment. It's the language I can get a long with you friend, though It's not my native one.
DeleteThis is lovely. What weight yarn is this? I cannot find it. Please and thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I don't exactly know what you mean. I used worsted Nako yarn, four skeins, 100 gram weight each. I may suggest any tweed worsted yarn, it will look nice too.
Deletethank you. Worsted was what I was looking for!! Just making sure not sock or fingering etc...
DeleteI'm trying to start this pattern but I'm really new to it and would like to know a bit more about what exactly to do during even rows. I can't tell if I'm supposed to just knit and purl or repeat the last odd row but replace the knits for purls. Thank you!

DeleteWelcome and thank you for comment. In even rows, Purl is the only stitch this pattern, BUT, since there are garter edges on both sides of the scarf, you have to always knit the first and last 4 stitches of each row.
DeletePay attention to the note that says purl two sts into the yot (yarn over twice) in rows 2 and 8.
Have a nice knitting day
