Picnic Spring Jacket

Important notice: This written pattern has been reviewed and updated on December 7th, 2020. Two new sizes (small and medium) have also been added.

This Jacket was designed and made for a dear friend of mine. She is tall and full-figured, so sometimes it's hard for her to find a jacket of suitable size, in a model and color that she likes. So she and I sat down, took measurements and designed one ourselves. I hope she likes it when she gets to wear it, since the corona-virus situation made it difficult for us to get in touch. Stay home, stay safe and healthy, and happy Easter to you all!

  2. OOOOH! Its GORGEOUS. ABS LOVERLY!! Im DEFINITELY making one for myself as soon as lockdown is over. However one question:The pattern has "BULKY" as one of Keywords. Are you using Bulky/CHUNKY wool? And one request: I wanted to have pockets also. Can you put i some instructions on how to do so? You could email to me at : annuwon@yahoo.co.in. Id really really appreciate that

    1. Hi Annu
thank you for your lovely comment. The yarn I've used is worsted, but the pattern makes it look somehow bulky.
About your request; the jacket has no pockets as the customer preferred.
Pockets have many types, the simplest are to knit separately then sew in place. You can try this method.
