Hi guys, hope you are all doing well. My new project is a very, very simple one, still elegant and lovely colored, due to the three pink shades in it. Have fun knitting it in one day.
Materials:
- Yarn: Bernat pop, 5 oz. (140 g), 280 yards (256 m), in the color "Lipstick on Your Collar" (84002): 2 skeins.
- Knitting needles, size US 10 (6 mm).
- Tapestry needle.
- Stitch marker.
Yardage: 530 - 540 yards (485 - 495 m) approx.
Measurements: Length: 75" (190 cm) tip to tip. Width: 10" (25 cm) approx.
Gauge: 15 sts and 27 rows = 4"x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) in Garter stitch.
knitting Terms
- st: stitch
- sts: stitches
- k: knit.
- yo: yarn over.
- k2tog: knit 2 stitches together.
- ssk: slip, slip, knit the 2 sts together through back loops.
To get a square block color at the beginning of the scarf, the first color yarn length in the ball should be 3/4 of each other color length. If you have more, you can cut the yarn, or just get on knitting and have your own final look.
