Halloween Ghost Hat

Hello there! as promised, this is the matching hat to my Halloween Ghost Sweater It comes with a wider range of sizes that can suit almost everyone. The size featured in the picture is for age 6-10 years old, modeled by my beautiful 9-year-old niece. The hat features the same motif of bats and ghost I used in the sweater, but the pattern is worked upside down. One funny consequence to that is that the ghosts look like they have really angry eyes this time. It should be pretty easy to knit this cute and spooky hat in no time if you know your way with circular knitting needles. So again, have fun making both the sweater and hat. I welcome any questions or suggestions, and I hope everyone gets to finish their projects before Halloween time.

Mocha Cherry shawl

Note: the written instructions have been updated and a chart has been added on March 7th, 2021.

I have been wanting to try my hand at the half-circle shawls for a while, but I was somewhat reluctant, as I was under the impression that I'll have to learn some complicated knitting method to get the semicircle shape. This month I finally decided to put some effort and make one. I started by looking for a simple increasing pattern to use, followed by many trials and errors. I was finally able to come up with a pattern that suits me, a simple stitch-increasing repetition that will enable me to expand the size and make the shawl as big as I prefer.

So this is my first half circle shawl. It is easy to make, and you can knit it using any other type of yarn you like. I had lots of fun making this shawl, so why don't you give it a go and make one for yourself! Stay safe and healthy, and see you in another post.
